Kerala is not only God’s own Country but also a State of blessed artists, said Governor P Sathasivam. He was speaking at the closing ceremony of 19th IFFK. ‘Kerala has created outstanding film makers like Aravindan, Adoor Gopalakrishnan and Bharathan. The motion pictures should not be pointed out as old and new, but good and bad. That is why the films of Charlie Chaplin, Akira Kurosowa and Satyajith Ray films still exits,’ added the Governor.
