I depicted real life incidents: Hiroshi Toda

 ‘Summer, Kyoto is a Japanese Philosophy and the response of the audience was really good’ said Hiroshi Toda, the Japanese director. The film is about human virtue and most of the film’s incidents are based on real life experiences captured from my career as a nurse, said Toda in Meet the Director Session. Kannada director P Sheshadri said that his film December 1 is not a political one. He also added that he takes most of the characters from rural background as his roots are still remaining in villages.
The director of Oonga, Devashish Makhija expressed his gratitude towards the audience who had received his film on the first screening itself.  ‘I am grateful to the overwhelming responses from the audience of Kerala. My film is not an activist film but made on a theme purely delivered from the political reality of our country, added Devashish.
Sekhar Das, director of The Tale of Nayanchampa, who was also a part of the conversation, opined that audience always compliment good creations without bothering the subjects. “I am giving  courtesy to the great writer Paulo Coelho for using the name Zahir for my film,” said Sidhartha Siva. Arun Kumr S U, director of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, said that the relationship between the girl and landlord in his film was a forceful addition in order to make it a commercial success. Saibal Chatterjee moderated the session.
